Man shot to death in Mattapan Square

Boston Police report a 22-year-old man died after being shot repeatedly around 11:45 p.m. at the Mobil station at Blue Hill Avenue and Babson Street.

I think I heard those shots
all the way over in Rozzie Square. Right about that time, I heard a series of sporadic and sharp bangs that sounded like distant gunfire. It was a pretty quiet night, so the sound could easily have travelled the 2.5 miles between ends of Cummins Hwy.
