Woman at Ashmont station stabbed in the chest with a ballpoint pen, possibly by a man with dry cleaning

Boston and Transit police are investigating a stabbing around 9 a.m. at the Ashmont Red Line station in which a woman was attacked with a pen. The suspect is described as a black male, 35-40, with a full beard, wearing blue jeans, black sneakers and possibly a burgundy shirt, last seen walking inbound on Dot. Ave. carrying a jacket in a plastic bag.

by a ballpoint pen? not a pen-knife?

boston.com (not that they're more accurate than you by any means) says it was a knife. I'm wondering if it was really a pen-knife (a small knife)

Scary

The Globe is now saying the victim was stabbed with a knife. Either way, very scary how brazen that attack was. Ashmont is still hopping at 9.
