I'm hearing that this was a 3 month long investigation that started with a tip to local cops about drugs being sold in a suburban town (the historical birthplace of two of our presidents) which lead to such an successful bust.

If you get busted for drugs and *don't* have a gun, you get all your drugs and money back, and a $1000 good-samaritan bonus.

It does seem a little odd that one would have that much drugs and cash in their apartment and not have any guns...

I want to say that there was a stabbing around the area about 5 years ago. I run by this house all the time and never noticed anything. Heck, tonight I ran by there and my only observation was that the sidewalk was very well shoveled out, along with the street by the sidewalk. When you run, this is what you notice.

Very quiet place. It helps that there is conservation land across the street.
