Person shot in the chest in Dorchester

I live on the street over and i actually heard the shots. It was not a cold night so my window was open and in the middle of the night i heard 3 super loud shots and woke up from my sleep. It was so loud that i thought someone was shooting at my house. Withing say 15 minutes the police showed up and was searching my parking lot with sniffing dogs ect. Since i moved around here (2012) there is a shooting at least once a week. The sad part is the Boston police has a car stationed across the street and these kids still shoot it out. So far this year i counted at least 13 different shoot -outs but not all made the news. The ones that did was the,"snow parking shooting" "talbolt ave murder" " the recent stabbing ". I used to live in East Boston and compared to Dorchester it is night and day
