Getting some fine wine before rushing over to their meeting.
Uber drivers ...
.... regularly park illegally there and prevent buses from pulling up to the curb to allow easier access for passengers. I’m glad to see an Uber out of commission. What dumbass!
I wonder how the woman who hit is doing.
Did you miss the part where the Uber was ***stolen***?
Or is it all good because you hate all Uber drivers, so eff them? Who cares if their personal car was stolen and used in criminal activities?
Uber was empty and idling
According to the local news, the Uber was empty and idling, which is why it was easily stolen. So yeah... in a way a small part of this can be blamed on the Uber driver
Empty and idling in ...
... no parking zone T stop where Ubers congregate all the time and prevent the Silver Line and buses from being able to lower to the curb and allow passengers to board and descend safely. This is particularly hard on disabled passengers.
Easier to steal an Uber
Much easier to steal a vehicle that is illegally parked with the engine running and keys in the vehicle while Ms. or Mr. Special Working Driver! runs into the store for a pack o'ciggies.
This Uber driver was ...
... already engaged in illegal and offensive activity even before the vehicle was stolen so yes, zero sympathy.
She was hit hard by the car
She was hit hard by the car and thrown against the wall. A sign fell off the wall and prevented the car from running her over. I heard she was seriously injuredetiGej
