Three teens arrested for holding up pizza guy at gunpoint; one mother also arrested

Boston Police report arresting three teens - one 17, the other two 15, on charges they pointed a gun at the head of a pizza delivery driver and robbed him on Fidelis Way early Wednesday.

The mother of one of the suspects was also arrested, police say, after officers went to their apartment and found an ammunition magazine and a bullet just sitting there.

Officers responded to 7 Fidelis Way around midnight, police say:

Officers were advised by the victim that he was attempting to deliver a pizza when he was robbed at gunpoint by three male suspects. The victim told officers that as he was reaching for the pizza in his car, one of the suspects pointed a firearm at his head, and demanded his belongings. One of the suspects punched the victim in the face and they fled the area.

Officers were provided descriptions of the suspects and began to canvass the area for the involved suspects. Officers observed one of the suspects, he immediately ran and was able to gain access to an apartment. As more responding officers arrived on scene, they were able to locate the other two suspects. After further investigation, officers located a stolen phone inside one of the suspect’s pockets.

The officers then spoke to the mother of one of the suspects inside of her apartment. As officers were inside the apartment, they located an ammunition magazine with one loose round of ammunition. Officers placed all four suspects under arrest without incident.

Andrea Keating Doucette was charged with unlawful possession of ammunition, larceny from a building, and malicious destruction of property, police say.

The three teens, all too young to have their names released, were charged as delinquent for armed robbery, police say.
