Man shot in the chest in Egleston Square

Shortly after 10 p.m. on Atherton Street where it meets Washington Street and Columbus Avenue. He ran across Washington and into the Egleston House of Pizza, where arriving first responders found him.

A second person was grazed in the back of the thigh by a bullet.

Washington Street was shut between Columbus and School Street for the investigation.

Adam, is it safe to assume that someone is expected to survive when we don't see that line "the homicide unit was called in because of the severity of the injuries"? In stories like this one?
