UPDATE: Victim identified as Marcus Hall, 31, who had brought his young son to the Hair It Is barbershop for a haircut. His obituary.

The Dorchester Reporter reports a man was found shot to death around 12:20 p.m. behind the block of stores at 1186 Blue Hill Ave., kitty corner from the District B-3 police station.

Boston EMS Incidents reports the victim was shot in the head. WCVB reports he was in his 30s.

Boston School Police report arresting a 16-year-old Brighton High School student they say came to school with a loaded handgun yesterday morning.

Police say the teen had a loaded Bryco Arms Jennings J-22 handgun in his pants pocket when pat frisked around 8:50 a.m. Read more.

Boston Police report a 17-year-old is dead from a barrage around 1:15 p.m. outside Burke High School this afternoon that also injured two other teens and a woman in her 60s.

City Council President Michelle Wu ended today's council meeting by announcing the shootings.

Boston Police report a man in his 30s was fatally shot around 10:25 p.m. at 131 Devon St., near Columbia Road.

The man, shot in the chest, was found at 152 Stanwood St., which backs up against the yard at 131 Devon.
