Murder in Dorchester; kidnapping thwarted in Allston

Boston Police report a 48-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds shortly after 8 last night at 23 Shandon Rd. He was pronounced dead at Boston Medical Center.

The shooting took place down the street from where two men were cut down in a hail of bullets in July.

Meanwhile, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports a Boston police officer was in the right place at the right time to foil the alleged kidnapping of a woman in Allston early this morning.

Saidi at his bookingBruce Saidi, 25, of Chelsea, was ordered held in lieu of $25,000 bail today for allegedly grabbing the woman while she walked her bike down Franklin Street around 3 a.m.. He is charged with holding a knife to her throat and forcing her to come with him across the turnpike on Cambridge Street - while an accomplice took charge of the bike. Near Highgate Road, prosecutors say, a police officer saw the trio:

... "Help me," the victim cried. "He's got a knife." ...

The second man eluded police.

I knew this kid...so theory or not it doesn't matter. From personal experience I can say he was not only creepy but he had stalker like habbits. Him and his friends were not good people either...money was a priority. I wasn't suprised when I saw the news...but a little disturbed considering he lives 4 streets away and I saw his brother that night.
