Convicted rapist convicted of rape again

Che Sosa, already serving a long Norfolk County sentence for rape, was convicted today of charges of raping a Jamaica Plain woman repeatedly in 1995. He was linked to the case in 2003 when Boston police submitted a sample from the scene to an FBI database. He is scheduled for sentencing tomorrow in Suffolk Superior Court.

To be served after he's finished serving 55 years in prison for a rape in Norfolk County and for slashing up his lawyer on that charge, the Suffolk County DA says. In a letter to the judge, the victim thanked police and prosecutors and added:

Seeing Che Sosa convicted and put behind bars has renewed my spirit in ways I never expected.

Thank Goddess this man will not be on the streets any longer. The victim is a friend of mine, and finally, she can live without fear.
