Looking at it now, I do recall having seen this before. In fact, it comes close to being a 'net meme itself.

Airship and OTR buffs, among others, will certainly recognize the allusion.

So I think you have committed a second-order pun in this instance. Or something.

I didn't even realize it was a pun until I read the comments. Brain is in weekend mode I guess.

This story makes me sad. But that is a really, really good pun.
