The paths along the Chestnut Hill Reservoir are cleaner today

Thanks to kids from the New Church in Concord, who spent much of yesterday clearing trash around the reservoir.

its nice that the kids cleaned this area. it would have been nicer if the BC students that use the area had cleaned it themselves. maybe then the kids from the church could have cleaned up a park or an area of town that is not used soley by spoiled college kids from new jersey. maybe they could have cleaned up smiths park in allson? or maybe fallon field in roslindale?

Many people seem to forget that Brighton is also home to many young professionals, like myself, who also enjoy the benefits of clean parks and walkways. My neighborhood (one of the few affordable places within the city) shouldn't be overlooked by good Samaritans just because there are lots of dirty college kids in the area. As someone who enjoys running around the reservoir, I thank them for their effort.
