Man guilty in Dorchester cookout murder

A Suffolk Superior Court jury today convicted Cornelius Brown, 34, of first-degree murder for the July 4th, 2007, murder of Michael Wiggins, 22, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office says.

Prosecutors charged Brown gunned down Wiggins during a fight at a family cookout. Barring appeal, he will now go to prison for the rest of his life.
