Motorcyclist knocked down by bus in Somerville

Happened around 3:45 p.m. at 75 Washington St., Transit Police tweet, adding motorists should expect delays. They quickly update: Minor ankle injury; road should be clear soon.

I was on a 66 bus that clipped a woman on a motor scooter a few weeks ago. Totally the bus driver's fault - he was shifting from center to left lane in anticipation of making the left from Cambridge onto North Harvard Street, and he never even looked in his mirror. Passengers on the left side of the bus saw the whole thing happen.

Luckily she was just scraped up, but it was pretty traumatic for all concerned.
