From fashion design relay races and gay Jewish trivia to a "Name That Folk Song" challenge and colorful game of capture-the-flag, the Keshet Color War has something for every type of athlete. Boston City Councilor Felix Arroyo to Proclaim May 18 - May 22, 2005 as Latino LGBT Pride Weekend
Reception to honor Somos Latinos/as and LGBT Community.
Boston City Councilor Felix Arroyo, recognizing and celebrating Boston' s diversity, will formally acknowledge that the Somos Latinos LGBT Coalition (We are LGBT Latinos) has designated the weekend of May 18th through the 22nd as a weekend of Orgullo (Pride), an event where the arts, politics, and culture of the Latino LGBT Community will be presented and recognized as a cohesive and powerful movement in our community-at-large.
There will be a special presentation at the beginning of the Boston City Council meeting on Wednesday, May 18, 2005. The Council meeting starts at 11:30 AM.
