We have all had them come to our door, call, or email us at this time of year - they’re solicitors. And while most are legitimate, some decidedly are NOT, and could even be perpetrating a scam. Arlington police are concerned about such activities occurring in town. Police Captain Richard Flynn provided APN’s Brenda Mahoney with tips to help you tell the difference between a worthy cause and a con.

We have The Right One to thank, hiding behind foreign "marketing" companies, but located in our very own Norwood. The product: a couple of blind "matches" for several thousand dollars.
