I kept coming home to robocall answering machine messages from him that were, no joke:
"Please vote for me next Tuesday. I'm going to [blah blah blah] fight for you. I appreciate your support. Don't forget, next Tuesday, vote for S-".
All pronouns, little if any effort to identify his name, except for occasionally his name would be truncated right at the end before the beep.
I only who figured out who was leaving the messages because his opponent didn't have an "S-" in his name.
