Globe ignores own story in coverage of Scott Brown
By adamg on Sat, 11/06/2010 - 3:55pm
Blue Mass Group notes the Globe has now published two news articles over two days repeating without comment Scott Brown's claim that Democrats have not once voted with him on anything, so why should he help them with anything.
But as BMG continues, on March 8, the Globe reported:
The amendment failed, but the precedent should not go unnoticed: US Senator John Kerry joined onto a proposal that was being pushed by his new Republican colleague, US Senator Scott Brown.

Surely this can't be the same Boston Globe that ran an exposé on Mary Z's terrible performance at the state lottery that costs us many millions — and then a couple of days later endorsed her for auditor.
Da Glob
Hey stop that!! They're a liberal media tool for the Democrats!! Stop screwing with the narrative. I mean the alternative is just that ... they're ...lazy and/or incompetent.
Well they also ran an anti-Bump story
They also had the story where Bump claimed two different houses as her residence, which is probably not as big a deal but it is somewhat related to the job of auditor. That said, I do suspect that the Globe endorsed Connaughton out of a desire to endorse at least one Republican. If you're going to endorse a token Republican, Auditor is the sort of blandly technocratic position where you're not exactly making much of a concession on policy.
you didn't get the memo?
Being Republican means never getting factchecked.
The MSM doesn't want to be accused of liberal bias, so they never question anything a republican says. Too bad, they get accused anyway.
Maybe it's just me but...
Shouldn't Scott Brown be voting for legislation because it's good legislation and not because Democrats support or oppose it?
Brown's in hell, really. He
Brown's in hell, really. He has to cover his ass with Democrats, because he could very easily lose his seat in two years, but he also has to cover his ass with Republicans, because he's going to need the national party's money to keep his seat.
I'd sympathize with him, if he weren't such a whiny waffle.
Brown's vote with Republicans is reliable
and so are his assertions that he's voting with Democrats.
