. . . to have so much time on your hands that something like the START Treaty bothers you. Such a real issue in peoples' lives. I mean I know I can't go to a Christmas party now without at least 10 people worried about the potential disparity in tactical nuclear warheads that this treaty will produce. Yes- such an important issue- this slight reduction in nuclear weapons is going to destroy us I tell you!

Good Lord- do these people live on the same planet as the rest of us or what?

No.

That concludes this Xmas Eve edition of simple questions, simple answers.

Scott Brown maybe coming to the realization that if he wants to get elected in the general then he has to act like a decent human being and not a republican prick, tool of Mitch McConnell?

I won't be forgetting his efforts to save irresponsible bankers some money at the expense of MA taxpayers.

This might be interesting if he gets primaried by rabid republicans, as speculated, and runs as an Indep or pulls a Specter.

I think Brown has realized that all along. At the time he was elected, I observed that he could either be the darling of the right wing and a two-year senator, or he could represent the state and get reelected. It was clear from early on that he chose the latter. I don't like some of what he does, but I have to say that what he has done is represent most of the people of the state some of the time.

If he gets serious and votes to cut spending (and spending other then the phantom "earmarks" and "entitlements" and "waste"), and raises taxes to tackle the deficit; I might actually vote for him next time around!

The teabaggers would go nuclear, but that's what it take to get this person who held his breath to vote for Croakly last time around. I'm glad and pleasantly surprised Browns a little more tuned into this states politics and needs, rather then the Derp express.

Still, he has a long way to go.
