The world's nicest Dunkin' Donuts is in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh?

Dana Reichman reports that not only is the Squirrel Hill outlet kosher, it has a fireplace. Here, take a look.

More like an Awful Awful (note: The one time I've ever been to Pittsburgh, to give a talk, I actually liked it).

I lived in Pittsburgh, PA for 8 years and never once saw a Dunkin' inside of town. There used to be one out in Monroeville but it closed. I remember seeing a bit of Dunkin' trash lying on the ground and being mystified about its origin.

Perhaps this is a new store.

P.S. Squirrel Hill is like the Brookline of Pgh.

Because I really have nothing else to do on a Saturday night, of course I looked it up.

Not sure if it is kosher certified, but the place on Riverside Ave. in Medford Square does use all kosher ingredients! Ohhh is it SOOO much better than dunkin cardboard!

Chocolate-frosted doughnuts and pumpkin muffins have joined bagels and lox as kosher breakfast fare in Squirrel Hill.

But not a word about the fireplace and couch. Maybe they're just so common at Pittsburgh-area Dunkin' Donuts they're not worth mentioning?

Dunks in Oak Square has a fireplace, although it's still not THAT nice. Red, did you see it's kosher?

I'll let them have "nicest Dunkin Donuts". Sorry, but in the end they're still Pittsburgh.

The Oak Square Dunkin' Donuts has a similar decor. Although as a Pittsburgher, I give the tie to squirrel hill!

I have no idea how I ran across this on the internet. However, that use to be a Boston Market. Now it is a Dunkin Donuts. Two horrible franchises from the Boston area. I love Boston, but hate Dunkin Donuts, and the arrogant & ignorant attitude everybody holds up there (such as Kaz). Hey Kaz, I lived in N.Y.C., Denver, Philly, and Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is by far the most livable and comfortable city to live in.

Anyways, you should have stopped at the Bagel Factory right next door instead. They are a million times better than a Dunkin D. The Bagel Factory is the best bagels in Pennsylvania besides Delancy Street in Philly.
