Wicked Local West Roxbury reports a Subway franchise is planned for that office-ish building at Centre and Corey, next to the West Roxbury Pharmacy - just like the one that opened this week in Roslindale.

I'm glad to see Subway come in to Roslindale and West Roxbury because this is one fast food store that's put a lot of effort into promoting good nutrition on their menu. Of course it's possible to "eat fresh" and eat the same healthy ingredients at DeNo's or M.J.'s, but the emphasis there is always piling on the meat, cheese, and dressing. At Subway you have a guide for low calorie and low sodium choices on the window as you order. I hope the local restaurants will do more in that direction.
