MBTA rejects request from Ashmont residents to replace Mattapan trolley with buses

The Dorchester Reporter updates us on the T's efforts to reduce the screeching from Mattapan trolleys going around the curves at Ashmont station.

We've already lost too many light rail lines to busing. It makes no sense to use a bus on a dedicated row that is already designed for light rail.
