Man shot in the chest in Dorchester, dead

Around 9:45 p.m. at 70 Ames St. Several shots were fired at the man, in his 20s. Because of his condition, the homicide unit was summoned.

UPDATE: Boston Police report the victim was pronounced dead at Boston Medical Center.

Hopefully Mike Ross will get to interact with some people who are effected by this violence. Maybe it will offer enough of a push to get him to make a large effort in making the problems better if he becomes mayor.

Because why bother addressing any other issues as long as this one remains unresolved, yes? If a cure for pertussis were unveiled tomorrow, you'd probably be mad about it because no one's cured cancer yet...
