In broad daylight?
In broad daylight?

Thanks for spotting that. Fixed.
It's in a big concentration of public housing projects and units
That part of the street is OK during the day, but avoid it after dark.
Central Square dance party ended around 11:05 pm
it was a huge, lively, peaceful, and well-behaved event (except for people who kept trying to climb poles and the bus stop shelter). But I'm wondering if some folks leaving there decided to get drunk and misbehave a few blocks away?
That's the same housing
That's the same housing complex as http://www.universalhub.com/2015/kendall-square-fills-cops-investigate-p...

I live near those projects and subsidized apartments
Most of the people I see around there seem decent. I see more trouble around some other concentrations and projects.
A problem with projects is, even when you don't get people who engage in criminal behavior as official tenants in the projects, all it takes is one guy to unofficially crash in his girlfriend's or family member's place. Then they to local muggings and breakins, their associates start hanging around, and occasionally their rivals pay the area a visit.
I'd like to see the projects gotten rid of, and the subsidized units spread out throughout the cities, and in every neighborhood.
