Roxbury gunfire captured on dashcam

A woman's dashcam captured the gunfire that happened around 6:20 p.m. yesterday on Dale Street at Mills. No injuries, but one car was damaged (and yes, the driver turned the video into police). Audio NSFW.

How did we get to a place where shooting someone with a gun and trying to kill them is so normal? In a minuscule number of circumstances I can imagine where I might need to try to kill someone with a gun. None of those circumstances involve someone simply being a part of "that" group, wearing a certain set of colors or because they simply "dissed" me.

You get one life and it is more precious than anything. You do not have the right to take that life from someone else.

this goes back a bit but when I was in Junior High, another kid and I were having an issue and were ready to brawl. the gym teacher took us to the gym, gave us some gloves and told us to knock the crap out of each other. we did. about 15 years later I was in his wedding.

we weren't dealing drugs but when you have problems sometimes kids, particularly boys, need to knock some sense into each other in a supervised environment. it's completely contrary to toay' teachings but when kids know what it's like to get hit they have respect and don't start shit.

with a gun it's more point and click senseless. they need to roll it back and give these youngins a safe place to punch each other.

Just saying. Not that it would make sense to fire him.

... from back in the day when kids shooing each other with guns was such a common even that it didn't even make the news.

I just love these "back in my day" stories about "how things were better" when the crime rate then was five times what it is now.

The whole "we were spanked and had RESPECT" is pure bullshit when those spanked people were the people responsible for one of the most intense violent drug crime waves in history.

"How did we get to a place", WE collectively have not. A subset of young people, largely men, have. Poverty, drugs, education, etc all related to why.

Great...now whoever they shot at is gonna see the video and know who to retaliate against. Prob best just to go to police with video and not post

Next week on universal hub shooting around the corner from here.
