Three-alarm fire displaces nine in Roxbury

The Boston Fire Department reports one firefighter was hurt during a three-alarm fire overnight at 24 Elm Hill Park in Roxbury.

The fire, to which firefighters responded at 3:55 a.m., did an estimated $750,000 in damage, displaced nine residents; none were injured.

The cause of the fire, which spread from the basement to the attic, is under investigation.
