MBTA says B Line to re-open tomorrow

The MBTA reports that after 12 days of work replacing track the Green Line will re-open for service tomorrow morning in Brighton and Allston.

The T says workers put in some 2,800 feed of track at Blandford Street, Packards Corner, and between Harvard Avenue and Griggs Street, as well as replaced worn out wooden ties and the like.

From a pic I saw on Twitter.. looks like they removed the last bit of switch that was for the A line that went up Brighton Ave. Packard's Corner is now just a continuous curved track.

If it means they also repaved the entire area around the tracks, then this is an upgrade. That intersection was the worst part about riding downtown from Brighton these days.
