I thought the Hyatt finally agreed to have these people hired with some new group/agency or something like 3 days ago.

All of the workers rejected that because they want their old jobs at the hotels back. So, just like they tell us a gazillion times during Sox games: It's ON.

Missed that part.

is the role of Penny Pritzker, Hyatt heiress and National Finance Chair for Obama.Wonder if her dividend payments would exceed the cost of raises for the housekeepers?I'm guessing if she had a different political affiliation, there might be a bit more noise, eh?

What do you want?

Are you suggesting Obama should personally accost Ms. Pritzker and slap her face?

just that these progressive heroes of the working class get a case of the shorts when it's their own money. The One liked the Hyatt owners just fine when they were writing (and bundling) checks to Him during the campaign. I guess that was then and this is now...

as if she could personally get these people rehired? They don't work in the area where she holds and executive position (Classic Residence by Hyatt) and while she is on the board, she is but one member of the board of a company she does not control. She has almost no influence on the firing or rehiring of these housekeepers.
