Ride-by shooting; another college student arrested on Mission Hill

While riding a bicycle, Otelino Goncalves, 21, of Lynn allegedly shot a man at Bowdoin and Tovar streets around 1:30 this morning, Boston Police report.
About an hour later, police report arresting a Wentworth student, Aidan Lindh, 19, for allegedly doing his part to mark up Mission Hill:
... On arrival, officers observed the suspect applying paint to a US Mail Box. When officers approached the suspect, the suspect immediately dropped a can of spray paint (pink in color). ...
This was after a passerby told officer he had seen a man tagging the side of a house.

Wondering how someone in Lynn got a bike to Dorchester ....
on a weekend when the Blue Line was closed for construction. I guess he took it on the commuter rail?

Who's to say he actually brought a bike down from Lynn? There are other ways an enterprising alleged thug could find a bike to ride by on.
you guys realize that the
you guys realize that the info posted on bpdnews is taken from the reports, and that the reports list the address that the suspect/victim gives the officer? he probably does not live any where near lynn but gave the address to hinder any future arrest/search warrants targeting his home. the other reason people give out of town addresses is because their cars are registered in the suburbs for insurance reasons.

Good point, although I'm thinking a guy who's been charged with shooting people from between his handlebars may not have a car.

He might have been shooting at people from a skateboard a few weeks ago...
