Free speech only goes so far in Revere

I did a quick search of google news yesterday, and found that 2 days had passed since there was any mention of this case in any form, in any paper. How is it possible that the media is not even asking the obvious questions in this case?

After a night of drinking, a bunch of cops are drinking some more behind a high school (while armed, in an area that no guns should be present in). A group of kids somehow manage to shoot a cop at point blank range, and gets away from this bunch with a single one being shot at, hit, or anything at all. Where did all the cops go before the first responders got there? Why are the police asking the public for anyone with information to come forward, when they should have the eyewitnesses in their own ranks? Is the FBI quietly taking suspects out of the custody of the RPD, and what does that signify? We are told that the bullet that killed the officer was not from a police-issued glock. I don't know a single cop who ONLY has his police-issued gun.

There are many, many unanswered questions in this case, and the RPD seems to be unwilling to address them. Hopefully, the FBI and State Police can make some sense of this mess, for the sake of everyone's safety.
