Wicked Local Newton reports local police are dealing with an onslaught of car break-ins. But residents don't have to be helpless: Police say Newtonites can stop the burglars in their tracks by locking their car doors at night.

Oh, sure, I can laugh now.

I always left my car unlocked in the burbs because I didn't want them to smash the windows before discovering that their prize was fast food napkins that I was saving in the glove compartment.
