Pre-teen, two teens charged with armed robbery in JP
Boston Police report an off-duty officer who spotted an apparent holdup in Jackson Square yesterday afternoon helped nab the three muggers: ages 12, 13 and 15.
Police say the officer, driving in her own car shortly after 1 p.m. spotted on kid surrounded by three others outside 200 Centre St.:
The officer alerted by this action slowed down and observed the young man put his hands in the teen's pocket and shortly thereafter take off inside the Heath Street development.
The officer quickly approached the victim who confirmed the officer's suspicions that he had been robbed. The victim told the off duty officer that he had been robbed of his iPod after one of the suspects motioned like he had a gun and threatened to shoot the victim.
The two girls and one boy were found in the boy's apartment. The three, too young to have their names released, were charged with armed robbery.

That's right outside the Jackson Square T station. Kids are always robbing people on the bike path right there as well. Use caution around there!
