Instead of trying to "wriggle by" people blocking your way on the street and falling on your ass as a result, try a very loud "Excuse me," and a tap on the shoulder prior to walking through... I can't see how it's "rude Bostonians" fault that you couldn't be bothered to communicate, and fell.....
