Woman walking in Brookline grabbed from behind, punched; attacker scared off by dog walkers

Brookline Police report a woman walking on Amory Street near Thatcher Street around 10 p.m. yesterday "was grabbed in a hug from behind by a male, wearing ski mask and gloves."
The man then punched her, police say, adding:
When the victim screamed a nearby dog walkers in Knyvet Park came to her aid. The suspect ran around the corner to a waiting vehicle, (possible a light colored Honda Pilot) and got into the front passenger seat. There was nothing stolen from victim.

Is there any reason why Amory Street seems to be a hotspot for muggings in Brookline? It seems like such a random street for crime to occur on and yet every year there's a spate of muggings there.
