Must all these "I worked like an Old Testament slave or paid the GDP of Paraguay so it's my parking space until the heat death of the universe" space saver defenders be as formulaic as a letter to Penthouse Forum?
Like many, I have [verb] multiple times this winter. The last round took me [improbably high number] hours [verb]. A few nights ago, I [verb] a [noun] with no [noun]. The [noun] I had [verb] myself had been taken (more than once) and the [noun] ignored.
Very strange to see these sorts of space-saving wars featured on the west coast news, and the spin it is getting runs from "the snow must be making them all crazy" to "how ridiculous".
Nobody enabled vandalism except the vandals. Marty just upheld something Menino had in place for years. If we were that angry about Menino's policy we would have responded democratically when he was mayor. Stop looking for a scapegoat.
I keep using the phrase to refer to big-talking angry people who write/post angry notes that have no actual action behind them (well, OK, in this case, maybe a stretch since the writer does mention scratches on the car).
So anonymous aggressive? The point is, majority of the vandals would not commit such acts in front of the car/ property owner or even in front of a passerby (witness).
...has no meaning anymore. Today, it's simply someone who does something you don't like, kind of like "troll" (which today means anyone who disagrees with you online).
...who cry "WAAAHHH! BULLIES!" are just children in grown up clothing. I'm sure you've taught your kids to drop the bully card whenever they feel the least bit stressed by another person.

Just the 3,000 mile view of it - carry on.
Easier thought
When it is 60 degrees out.
Not judging either side of the debate, just the view of people not in the midst of it.
That's OK, I'll judge one "side of the debate"
Start arresting and prosecuting the lawless psychotic thugs who are vandalizing. They're toxic to the whole city.
Sure
As long as you are in the thick of it.
It's like me saying "why can't the Iraqi's defeat ISIS?" when I have no idea what things are like in Iraq.
Sometimes a little distance offers perspective

Eh...
I lived in CA for almost six years. There's not much valid perspective coming from that place...on anything.

I hope the resident who was attacked remembers who enabled this behavior next time they visit the ballot box.

poop bag story
Not nearly as good as the returned poop bag story from a few days ago!
You keep using the phrase "passive-aggressive"
I do not think this means what you think it means.
Definition, please?

Exactly.

Intimidation and threats
!= bullying?
Okay.
