Police charge Blue Hill Avenue market was selling more than just milk and bread
Boston Police report a raid on D&D Market, 734 Blue Hill Ave. yesterday morning uncovered a pound and a half of marijuana, scales and packaging used to distribute it in smaller amounts and 23 rounds of ammunition.
Police say officers executed a search warrant at the store around 11:30 a.m. - which they obtained after receiving "receiving multiple CrimeStoppers tips reporting that drugs were being distributed from the above location."
Jamal Forrest, 39, of Hyde Park, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, police say. Felucia Stevens, 33, of Dorchester, was charged with being disorderly, drinking in public and resisting arrest.
Two other people received summonses to show up in court on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and illegal possession of ammunition.
