Missing Dogs Massachusetts reports a happy ending to the saga of Indy, the dog new to the area that ran away from his owner last week and right onto the turnpike:
Today, Indy was sighted at BU (on Storrow Drive) and then a short time after that he ran up Storrow to Harvard Stadium. He then traveled East on the Westbound Lane and took himself into Cambridgeport and decided he wanted to visit the Tudor St Dog Park. Someone who did not know he was missing opened the gate and let him in and & got him secured with a leash.

Marty knows a lot about the trouble Indy can cause when coming to Boston.

I was praying for this dog to make it back home.
Dogs are amazingly intuitive.
Dogs are amazingly intuitive. See how he related the dog park with good people and other happy dogs where he could find help?

Dogs in the wild revert back to primitive behavior.
He was probably looking for a pack to join.
That is why sometimes a lost dog will approach a dog walker that is out with their dog.
