Yes, I think it does need a larger Adult Ed. program. It always has--but unemployed people are going to need to sharpen their skills more than ever.

On Purpose?
When I was in high school, I was part of a group of students that was assembling after school to march around with signs to protest looming cuts in the budgets if one of the pieces of the school budget levy failed to pass.
When some stoners and smokers showed up and asked what was going on, I thought we could use their numbers and I showed them to the signmaking table. They walked along carrying signs to the effect of "Keep Me off the Street" and some mispelled signs indicating that they still needed more school.
Hey, it was 15 or so extra bodies ... and the threatening-looking headbanger teen with his "keep me off the street" sign was front and center on a major section of the main paper for the entire metro area.
or maybe WHY is the name of some school proposal?
