Boomerangs is not closing its JP store

With the old Decelle's in West Roxbury rapidly getting turned into a Boomerangs thrift shop, people keep fretting that the existing JP Boomerangs will close.

Good news for JPers: It's not. There'll be two Boomerangs, one in JP and one in West Roxbury, according to the nice lady who answered the phone at the JP store when I called just now.

It's karmic, anyway: JP got a Real Deal, so West Roxbury needed something in return.

If the store in JP closed I don't think anyone would have any reason to go into the center anymore. The place is always packed lately--it is the busiest store in JP by a long shot.

Thanks for clearing up the confusion. I really don't know what I'd do without Booms right around the corner.

Is that a good thing? I've never been in there; somehow between the bad vibes of the Emack and Bolios mismanagement, and the incredibly ugly Real Deal sign, I've never bothered. Do I need to give it a try.

A step up from the Same Old Place, although what's missing in JP are the cupcakes from Sugar (or do they truck those in?).
