By adamg on Thu, 01/28/2010 - 4:14pm
District C-6 reports a woman walking from Victoria's Diner to a nearby Citizens Bank to make a deposit Monday afternoon was held up by a man in a black face mask who told her "I have a gun. Let's go for a walk."
The suspect is described as a black Hispanic male, 5'11" to 6', who also wore a black jacket and dark pants. After taking the woman's red tote bag with the cash around 4 p.m., he ran down Mass. Ave. toward Columbia Road, police said.

Broad daylight
(Expletive) gross. This is why we need to bring back the stocks.
New Market Robbery
This sounds suspicious. I'll wager there's an inside angel to this.
How could it be an inside
How could it be an inside angel? The robbery occured outside in the cold. If anything it was an angel wearing a fur coat who then flew down Mass.Ave.
Inside angel?
If there were an inside angel, wouldn't it have protected the poor woman with the big bag of money? Sounds more like an inside devil to me.
