Police: Rush-hour Red Line groper arrested

MBTA Transit Police report arresting a Maynard man on charges he indecently assaulted a woman - twice - on an inbound Red Line train around 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 3 after the train left Charles/MGH.
Ashish Mittal, 38, was arrested yesterday on a charge of indecent assault and battery, police say.
Innocent, etc.

I'm so tired of seeing these creeps get away with stuff like this. I remember one time, about 10 years ago, I was on the Orange Line towards Malden and this drunk guy was grabbing this teenage girl. No way she was over 15. And NO ONE was doing anything! Now, I'm a big guy, 6'7, 275 pounds, hairy as a bear, but I have a huge case of the baby face, especially then, as I hadn't grown out my beard. But my size was enough alone to scare this guy off. After telling him off and chasing him off the train at the next stop, I asked if the girl was ok (she was) and went on my merry way. I told a Transit Cop about the guy, and I always wonder if they ever got him. Hope so!

It should be an adult woman's choice if she wants to go to a nightclub to get grabbed by a drunk douche, not when simply trying to get from A to B.
