Harvard University yesterday told students and staff at its Cambridge and Boston campuses that it's banned all school-related international travel and "non-essential domestic travel" due to Covid-19 concerrns - and that it might be a good idea to cancel any on-campus meetings of 100 people or more, although lecture classes will go on as usual. Northeastern University is telling students and staff returning to Boston from China, South Korea, Italy or Iran to "self-isolate" for 14 days to ensure they haven't been infected with Covid-19.

Northeastern has technology and online capabilities that can enable classes and work to progress remotely.

The Boston Music Intelligencer reports that the BSO, which had a planned Asian tour canceled over coronavirus fears, will instead play a series of free concerts in the Boston area - with one trip out to Tanglewood. Read more.

The Daily Free Press reports a contractor is expected to begin work soon to build two new Green Line stations along Commonwealth Avenue that will replace four current stops. Read more.

Scape North America, which is planning a 477-unit apartment building on Boylston Street in the Fenway, announced today it's signed a letter of intent with the Theater Offensive to run the 10,000-square-foot, 156-seat black-box theater that will be part of the new building. Read more.

The Green Line came to a grinding halt on Comm. Ave. at the BU Bridge tonight when somebody in a Tesla wound up enmeshed with the tracks, KMV reports. No word if the driver claimed to be just following GPS directions or maybe taking care of his dog in the back seat while on autopilot, but whatever the reason, a big ol' tow truck had to be called in to get the expensive doorstop off the tracks.
