How long before the MBTA adjusts the schedules on the Franklin Line?

Now that the T and the MBCR have figured out how to make the trains run on time (it's simple: just change the schedules), how long before they "improve" the Franklin Line, where we see from a new commuter blogger that things are getting annoying?

Is she riding a different Franklin Line?

Because the one I ride has been fairly reliable the last couple of months. I haven't had to make a refund claim for late service since early January.

Franklin Forge Trains Are Late

I tried to post a reply to the person asking if we were riding different trains. But it's not publishing. So, I'm replying to your post and anonymous.

1. To anonymous about the Franklin Line chronic tardiness: No, we're not riding a different line. The day I posted, the train was late twice that week. So it may be acceptable for it to be 15 or 20 minutes for you - because that's less than their benchmark for refunds. But one woman walked into a key meeting late and the train was late at least 2x this week too. Otherwise, why would the conductor announce an explanation and apologies?

What may be different is that I take different trains in the morning so the posts we have shared were about several late trains. If you look at the South Station sign posting on-time performance for the Franklin line, you'll see the train's performance dropped this month. Is 71-73% of the time okay for you? Which means 27-29% of the time late? Not to me when I was on time every single day last year.

2. To adamg: Changing the schedule is perplexing. Is it supposed to help? Because it certainly hasn't with the last change.
