MBCR conductor disregards personal safety, goes after dangerous criminal on his train

Imagine: Dude was taking photos out the window of a Providence Line train:

... Shortly after taking a few pictures, a conductor came along and told me I wasn't permitted to take photos on the train. 'Why not?' I asked politely, turning off my camera and putting it away. The answer was along the lines of 'Because.' ...

complete bs

People wonder how the T is in such bad shape, but it's pretty obvious when they dont even know their own rules

A CSR at a subway station told me that policy "is a lie".

Get it in writing

Ask for the "real" written policy then. If that policy is a lie, then get the one that isn't a lie.

I've done that to a conductor pulling bullshit when I brought my bike on board off-peak and she totally backed off. Seems handing people official policy paper isn't always enough when they are on their domineering little power trip, but asking for "their" policy in writing makes it clear that you aren't messing around.

When I saw her harassing another cyclist later, I demanded her badge number and filed a complaint. There were no further problems. Maybe that would work for Mr. No Happy Snaps, too?
