Chuck Turner looks ahead to 2012

On his campaign Web site, Chuck Turner says he will run for re-election this year and again in 2011, but says that 2011 will be his last race for his district-7 seat. He isn't ruling out running for something else in 2012.

The website announcement is odd, a mix of reasonableness, predictable lashing out at the U.S. Attorney, and a sort of presumptuous entitlement to two more terms before reaching a self-imposed term limit.

Council staff claim "Proceedings of City Council" are the same as "Minutes". See for yourself the difference...
