Ned Flaherty details all the changes made at the last minute in secret to the $500-million Fenway Center development and says the true public cost is $162 million, not the $24.5 million state officials said last week.

The state is going to be paid over 300 million over the course of the 99 year lease. Hardly a public give away.

Wouldn't we get the 300 million anyway without handing over 150M+ in subsidies? And it's not so much the subsidies, it's the backdoor deals...
