Even his friends don't understand Patrick on this one

Charley on the MTA wasn't concerned about the Caddy or the drapes. But making calls on behalf of a subprime lender like Ameriquest? That Charley cannot abide:

... We can forgive the Caddy, we can forgive the drapes, but at some point our forgiveness has to give way to a reality that we can't just assume this governor is going to be different but that he actually has to demonstrate that he is different.

Good news is that someone in the Governor's Office was thinking. Bad news is that Gov. Patrick either doesn't read what he signs or thinks that the rules don't apply to him.
