A Dorchester teen who walked out of court Monday morning after a judge reduced his bail on gun charges for a January incident was back in custody Monday afternoon after police found him with a loaded gun, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Read more.

Members of rival gangs from Dorchester and Mattapan briefly turned Boston Bowl on Morrissey Boulevard into a battleground early on Aug. 15, with a member of one gang shot at in the parking lot and a member of the other having to evade bowling balls hurled at him - before somebody caught up with him and punched him in the face hard enough to break his nose. A city task force is urging Boston officials to create a Dudley Square/Uphams Corner "neighborhood innovation district" to bring entrepreneurs, jobs and new housing into the area as start-ups create the next generation of businesses in whatever field the district becomes known for - maybe education, given the new location of BPS headquarters. Wanted man

Transit Police report they are looking for a guy they say threatened to stab a Route 45 bus driver with a screwdriver around 4:20 p.m. on Sept. 21.

The incident happened at Blue Hill Avenue and Pasadena Rd., police say.

Boston Police report that around 11 p.m. on Sunday, a woman was robbed and then sexually attacked at knifepoint at Dorchester Avenue and Harbor View Street in Dorchester.

The suspect is described as black, in his 20s with a medium build, short black curly hair, and a small amount of facial hair. He was wearing dark clothing and may have fled on foot in the direction of Sydney Street.

Big fake gun seized in Dorchester

Boston Police report officers responding to about a man aiming an assault rifle out his window at 20 South Point Dr. Wednesday evening found a guy with a Sage International BB Rifle:

The suspect told the officers he had been firing the gun out of his window for fun. There were no reports of injuries or damage to property. The suspect has not been charged with an offense at this time.

Boston Police report a man was shot around 8:40 p.m. at 96 Intervale St. He was transported to Boston Medical Center, where he died.

Transit Police report a man believed to be in his 50s was hit and killed by a train at the Braintree platform at JFK/UMass.

The man died from his injuries, police say, adding that while an investigation is underway, foul play is not suspected. The Dorchester Reporter reports he jumped.

Extricating the man and investigating the incident halted Red Line service to Braintree; passengers crowded outside stations waiting for shuttle buses; some were able to get on South Shore-bound commuter-rail trains.what

Dominic Shiner, 33, was ordered held without bail today at his arraignment on a charge he stabbed Sean Dwyer to death in front of Dwyer's barbershop on Adams Street in Dorchester last December. He was arrested Friday following his indictment by a Suffolk County grand jury.

As Dwyer's mother, other relatives, friends and Boston Police detectives listened, Assistant Suffolk County District Attorney Julie Higgins said that just two days before the murder, Shiner had shown up at Dwyer's shop and asked him for some money, which she said Dwyer gave him. Read more.
