The Santander Bank branch at 6 Francis St. was held up around 4 p.m. by a black man wearing a black hat, black sunglasses and a green jacket. Last spotted running up Tremont Street. He may be the same guy who held the bank up on Sept. 19; police suspect he's also responsible for other recent bank robberies.
Around 3 p.m. in McLaughlin Playground. Police are looking for two men, both black, both in their 20s, both 5'7" or 5'8" and skinny. One wore a red bandana, one had hair dyed blonde. They took the victim's green backpack. They ran down Bucknam Street towards Heath.
Prosecutors say Karen Edwards, 36, of Brooklyn, NY, was ordered held without bail today at her arraignment in West Roxbury Municipal Court, where a judge ordered her to undergo psychological testing, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Read more.

Just got back from walking my dog in the middle of the street since most of the sidewalks look like this. This trash has been on the sidewalk next to our house since yesterday early evening. Come on City of Boston and Mayor Walsh, you can do better!!! As a nurse who's been living here since the Spring I'm not finding this unsanitary situation amusing... My 1st and last 9/1 on the Hill!
