The Boston Licensing Board tomorrow considers whether to approve a proposed Nigerian restaurant in Dudley Square. And a second Nigerian restaurant, in Mattapan, could come before the board within a month for permission to open.

Suya Joint, 25 Poplar St. in Roslindale Square, opened on Thursday, so Boston is no longer bereft of Nigerian food.

The sign at the African Cuisine on Hyde Park Avenue is still up, but all the tables are gone and mail is piling up on the other side of the mail slot. Also, the door was locked.
